  • Today, it is widely recognized that there is a positive correlation between project employee training and certification in project management on the one hand, and project performance on the other. This positive correlation has been reinforced by paradigm shifts in globalization, advances in technology, the emergence of large and complex projects, focus on integration, innovative practices and networking. In today's dynamic business environment, it is imperative that organizations manage their projects efficiently and effectively. Though the responses of India's corporate sector and management education Institutions are not as quick and comprehensive as expected, the current decade is likely a decade of "management by projects" in India. In response to these challenges, SPJIMR offers a restructured, more relevant and value-added "Post Graduate in Advanced Project Management" (PG-APM) to managers extensively experienced in some specific project management activities and wanting to acquire a well-rounded holistic perspective on project management. The programme primarily aims to help participants in understanding the globally recognized Framework for Project Management. Take up Accountability, Strategizing, Visualization, Planning, Scheduling, Monitoring and grow to higher level of decision making.

Eligibility
  • Graduation or equivalent degree from any recognized University or Institute

  • Minimum 3 years of Working Experience

  • *If the participant is NOT a graduate but has a minimum of 15 years of project management experience, will be awarded only "Advanced Project Management" certification.

  • CERTIFICATION CRITERIA - If the participant covers both the Online & On-Campus sessions along with complete evaluations will be awarded 60 PDU's. The criteria for certificate is 1. 75% and above - PG-APM (Honors), 2. 61% to 74% - PG-APM, 3. 60% and below 60% - Certificate of Participation & 4. Non Graduates (with min 15 yrs. of exp) - Advanced Project Management.
