Time Value of Money is a non-credit course authorized by the University of Michigan, offered on Coursera by Professor Gautam Kaul who is currently associated with Ross School of Business. There are 2 practice assignment and 2 assignment quizzes consisting of 6 questions each to be given in 2nd and 4th week of the course. The overall course grade is defined as the average percentage of marks obtained while completing the assignment quizzes. In this course, you get introduced to Future and present value of money, annuity, perpetuity, the basics of the amortization schedule, the effective interest rate when compounding is done quarterly, semi-annually, monthly or daily, the impact of interest on repayments made for borrowed money and the changing pattern of the actual amount of principal and interest paid during repayments. Overall, a great course for the finance domain.
