Organizations are increasingly becoming appreciative of the developmental role that their managers must play in developing employees. While many a line manager has that basic urge to develop the employees, more often than not they are handicapped by a lack of professional knowledge and skills that are essential to play the HR role effectively. It is also very common for such managers occupying positions in the HR department in many organizations in India without having adequate professional qualifications. The program aims to provide an opportunity for them to study and earn an Executive Diploma in HRM, while working, without interrupting their career. | The Programme is of 16 month duration. The total number of courses are 15 (fifteen) and are slated from Term-I to Term V for contact classes, while Term VI for Dissertation. Each course consists of 12 sessions of 90 minutes. | Each course is designed for 100 hours with 18 hours of classroom contact hours and 82 hours of individual and group input. | In the first five terms, there will be one contact session each, which will be residential in nature. Each course will have 10-12 days contact sessions. | There will be four sessions per day of 90 minutes each. Internal faculty will handle two courses while an external resource person (preferably a practitioner) may handle the third. The schedule may be flexible.
